Forgive me, but I’m going to be super cliché and ask…HOW is Christmas already over?? It feels like two days ago that I was torturing my cat by forcing him to take photos in a witch hat (…I couldn’t help myself…it was Meowloween), and here we are with Christmas already two days behind us.
Justin and I spent the holiday chasing Christmas cheer across every corner of South Carolina. We started things off in Florence, SC with shopping (because we’re crazy people who think shopping on the Friday before Christmas is an acceptable idea) and dinner with friends and their sweet babies.
Saturday morning we started our journey across the state equipped with an expertly-packed car of presents (thanks to J), more snacks than we needed, and one very curious cat. By the time we got to Greenville for our first stop with Justin’s brother and sister-in-law, only two presents had been unwrapped by kitten claws. Nacho bar, gift exchange, and a cutthroat game of Dicecapades later, and a tradition was born.
Next stop: Fountain Inn, SC to visit my mom. There was a zoo, Italian food, and a fair amount of crying over It’s a Wonderful Life.
Monday morning, we woke up at the crack of dawn. Daybreak. THE SUN WAS NOT YET AWAKE.
Ok it was 6:45, but we aren’t morning people so it might as well have been 4 a.m.
Travel to Loris, SC was quick and painless, and we arrived just in time for 4 (yes 4!) incredible Christmas celebrations with his family. Overall, it was a pretty perfect Christmas.
If you celebrate, I hope yours was merry and bright! Comment below, find me on facebook, or insty, or email me and let me know how your Curvy Christmas went! Any special time with family? Did you receive a gift that made your whole holiday? Did you eat everything in sight and stay in your pj’s for days? (This sounds particularly dreamy). Tell me all about it.
I’m so excited to be heading into 2018 with all of you. We have so much to look forward to, friends!
