    About

    So here’s the thing.

There are a LOT of photographers out there. You’re here, you’re looking for one, so I know you know. A lot of photographers means a lot of different potential experiences (heyoooo statistics), so it’s CRAZY important to make sure you’re choosing someone that feels right to you.

Yeah, it’s necessary to love the work. But honestly? If we’re being completely REEEAAAALLY real here (which I’ll always aim to be with you) — you can probably line up 20 photographers to take the same photo, and 15 of them would be absolutely stunning, BUT…ultimately indistinguishable from each other.

Is that bad? Nope! We’re all out here with the same gear and the same software and following the same visual trends and while our work is all undoubtedly very much our own, what really sets us all apart is the experience.

This is what you can expect when you book your session with me.

I joke around with YOU, not your time or money.

I pride myself on being super laid-back and easy-going in a session setting. BUT – I am so hyper-aware of the fact that you’re dropping money on this experience. You’re paying for my services which include my expertise, my time, my gear, my software, my artistry, the whooooole thing, and that’s not something I take lightly. This means you’ll be looped into what’s going on every step of the way. I’ll be where I say I’ll be when I say I’ll be there, ready to get some awesome shit done. I don’t believe in wasting your time, or, to be honest, mine. So I take every single client and the trust and investment you put into me and my work SO seriously.

It’s gonna be a little weird.

Like, does it ever reeeeally feel normal to have a camera in your face? Unless you’re a celebrity or a model or one of my cats, you’re probably not used to someone following you around trying to get shots of you being cute, but that’s exactly what you’re paying me to do, so we gon’ do it, and I promise, the photos are going to be so worth it.

    We’re gonna have fun.

As I just said — there’s nothing about this that’s normal. And if you’re eloping, I get it! You probably just want to get these photos and then get on with the business of being MARRIED (or, at least that’s what I wanted when my husband and I eloped – picture heart eyes emoji here). So while we’re going to take the time we need to do it right, we’re going to have a blast getting these moments into your forever memory bank. I have an arsenal of prompts that will have you cracking up, I promise not to make you prom pose, and I’m going to be right along with you, probably snort-laughing because the art of getting gorgeous photos is shockingly hilarious. Regardless, we’re gonna be doing this thing – together.

It’s going to be as stress-free as possible.

I totally get it. Whether you’re part of a couples session or you’re eloping (!!!), there are SO MANY STRESSORS to think about. What about location? (We can figure that out together!) What do i wear? (Don’t worry, that’s what I’m here for.) What do I do with my hands? (Again, hi, that’s my job.) What if I’m not, ya know, feeling myself  that day? Well friend, that’s where my bluetooth speaker and Lizzo come in. But in all seriousness, my speciality — what sets my soul (and work!) on fire, is working with clients of all shapes, sizes, abilities, etc. and showing them how beautiful they are all day every day, just using my camera. So all I ask you to do is show up, and trust me.

Experience is important. I’ve got you in every single way possible, and all I need from you is your willingness to be your truest, most authentic self. Leave the rest up to me, and let’s go take some photos that will stop time.

Ready to book with me? Hit that button and let’s get this show on the road!

    YEP, YOU'RE MY GIRL!
